She was predeceased by: her husband Ausencio Rodriguez Mermella; her daughter Agnes Garcia; and her siblings, Orlando, Raul Suarez, Elvira Diaz, Patsy Garcia, Emilia Torres and Ruth Gonzales.
She is survived by: her children, Richard, Rudy, Robert, Mark, Chencho Mermella, Gloria, Gracie Mermella, Sandra Ferniz and Sabrina Mata; and her sister Ermelinda Gascot. She is also survived by 15 grandchildren and 42 great grandchildren, other family members and dear friends.
Visitation will be held on Thursday, January 30th 2025 from 3:00 PM to 8:00 PM at the First Memorial Park Cemetery (20567 TX-16, Von Ormy, TX 78073). A rosary will be held on Thursday, January 30th 2025 at 6:30 PM at the same location. Viewing will be held on Friday, January 31st 2025 from 9:00 AM to 11:00 AM at the same location. A burial will be held on Friday, January 31st 2025 at 11:00 AM at the same location.
