David C. Chapa Obituary
It is with great sadness that we announce the death of David C. Chapa (Von Ormy, Texas), who passed away on December 1, 2024, at the age of 71, leaving to mourn family and friends. He was predeceased by: his parents, Francisco Chapa and Enriqueta Chapa; his siblings, Maria C. Ortiz, Guadalupe C. Velasquez, Ramon, Felix, Fransico and Bonificio Chapa; and his grandson Mark Anthony "Marky" Valdez.
He is survived by: his wife Lora Chapa; his daughters, Valerie Chapa and Darlene Chapa; his stepdaughters, Rachel Benavidez and Patricia Hernandez; and his siblings, Ricardo Chapa, Cecilia C. Hernandez, Carlota C. Ortiz, Juana C. Tello and Alma C. Alvarado. He is also survived by 19 grandchildren, 12 great grandchildren, other family members and dear friends.
Visitation was held on Monday, December 16th 2024 from 3:00 PM to 8:00 PM, on Tuesday, December 17th 2024 from 9:00 AM to 12:00 PM and from 9:00 PM to 12:00 AM at the First Memorial Park Cemetery (20567 TX-16, Von Ormy, TX 78073). A prayer was held on Monday, December 16th 2024 at 6:30 PM at the same location. A burial was held on Tuesday, December 17th 2024 at the Madre Dolorosa Cemetery (775 Co Rd 305, Poteet, TX 78065).
