She was predeceased by: her parents, Richard Hammond and Rose Teufel Hammond; and her parents-in-law, Henry and Juliana Verstuyft. She is survived by: her husband Tom Verstuyft; her children, Randy Verstuyft of Von Ormy and Jamie; her son-in-law Mike Pontillo of Boerne; her granddaughters, Danica and Mallory Pontillo; her brother Kenton; and her sister-in-law Linda Hammond. She is also survived by numerous nieces, nephews, other relatives, and dear friends.
In lieu of flowers, memorial donations can be made in Betty's memory to Our Lady Queen of Heaven Catholic Church or your favorite charity.
