It is with great sadness that we announce the death of Wayne DeWaugh Brown of Vidor, Texas, born in Falkville, Alabama, who passed away on May 21, 2024, at the age of 97, leaving to mourn family and friends. He was predeceased by: his wife Virginia Nell Cannon; his parents, James C. Brown and Lula Mae Brown; and his siblings, Elmo, Ralph, Ruby, Armand, Vivian, Roy and Herchell.
He is survived by: his children, Linda Kay Brown Dollar (Stephen) of Vidor, TX and Howard Wayne Brown (Jada Majors Brown); his grandchildren, Stephanie Dollar Polk (Darren) of League City, TX, Lauren Dollar Buckley (Marcus) of Vidor, TX, Elliott Browning Dollar (Chelsea Hammonds Dollar) of Montgomery, TX, Nichole Brown Mitchell (Eric) of Birmingham, AL and Kristopher Wayne Brown of Pelham, AL.; and his great grandchildren, Myah Elyse Molina, Gabriella Marie Molina, Makenna Grace Buckley, Sophie Jane Buckley, Ronan Quinn Buckley, Indy Vera Dollar, Katlynn Faith Mitchell and Ashton Connor Mitchell.
