She was predeceased by: her husband Gilbert Cox; and her parents, Mary Jean Lozier and Junior Paul Lucas. She is survived by: her children, Pamela Cox of Vidor, TX, Peggy Jackson (Thomas) of Silsbee, TX and Robin Root (Robert) of Lumberton, TX; her sister Paula Netterville (Wilton) of Vidor, TX; her grandchildren, Kevin Cox of Vidor, TX, Jessica Sims (Chad) of China, TX and Robert Root of Beaumont, TX; and her great grandchildren, Kaiden, Payton, Carson, Madalyn and Preston. She is also survived by numerous nieces, nephews, and dear friends.
Visitation was held on Monday, December 9th 2024 from 9:00 AM to 10:00 AM at the Rose City Baptist Church (1430 Old U. S. 90, Vidor, TX 77662). A funeral service was held on Monday, December 9th 2024 from 10:00 AM to 11:00 AM at the same location. A burial was held on Monday, December 9th 2024 from 11:00 AM to 12:00 PM at the Restlawn Memorial Park (2725 N Main St, Vidor, TX 77662).
