Betty Nelson wrote a sympathy message

“So sorry to hear about sammy. Remember when we kids together he was always kind and gentle, with a great sense of humor. He was a first cousin to me, his mom and my mom were sisters. I always knew here Rosin Ridge was, Played their lots of times in my life. I remember the coal oil lamp in the kitchen, and the water buckets, where we had to carry water from the spring. Of course, the old house has been updated since the fire, but still have good memories. Betty Stanley Nelson”
