It is with great sadness that we announce the death of Roy Leon Whatley Sr. of Vidor, Texas, born in Eunice, Louisiana, who passed away on September 30, 2021, at the age of 80, leaving to mourn family and friends. He was predeceased by: his parents, Louis Whatley and Emma Whatley; and his siblings, Cecil Whatley and Katherine Alleman. He is survived by: his pet Roxie; his great grandchild Matthew "MJ"; his wife Virginia "Polly" Whatley; his children, Roy Leon Whatley Jr. and Miranda Wyatt (Stephen) of Vidor, TX; his siblings, Shirley Johnson of Silsbee, TX, Gwen Godeaux (Jerry) of Vidor, TX, Doris Shifflett of Port Neches, TX and Gerald Whatley (Donna) of Vidor, TX; his grandchildren, Matthew Wyatt, Tiffany and Cody Wyatt (Robin); and his great grandchildren, William of Matthew, Zach and Grace. He is also survived by his wife, children, grandchildren, great grandchildren.
