He was predeceased by: his mother Barbara Dowers; and his nephew Josh Yarbrough. He is survived by: his daughters, Stephanie Griffin of Kirbyville, TX and Shawnda Dowers; his father Claude Dowers of Vidor, TX; and his siblings, Terry Dowers (Karin) of Vidor, TX, Jerry Dowers (Anita Vidor) and Debbie Yarbrough (Russell) of Village Mills, TX. He is also survived by three grandchildren.
