He is survived by: his father Richard Byrd; his wife Shelly Byrd; his daughter Shar Kourtney of Vidor; and his siblings, Ricky Byrd (Sheree) of Nederland, Reese Byrd (Kelly) of Vidor and Rhonda Phillips (Willie) of Center.
