He was predeceased by: his parents, Edna Rilley and Henry Schiesler; his wife Marilyn Schiesler; his son David Schiesler; and his siblings, Paul, Forrest, John, Edward, Mark Schiesler, Mildred Hill and Mary Lula Fontenot.
He is survived by: his children, Paul Schiesler (Joan) of Kountze and Michele Schiesler of Seabrook; his grandchildren, Ryan Schiesler (Hannah), Sean Schiesler, Kirk Schiesler (Kristin), Harley Schiesler and Cheyene Schiesler; his great grandchildren, Jackson, Grayson, Luke and Hudsyn; and his sisters, Edna Mae Gass (Jimmy) of Athens and Margaret Root (Michael) of Silsbee. He is also survived by numerous nieces, nephews, and a host of other relatives and friends.
