He is survived by: his sons, Brad Shirley of Milam, Steve Shirley of Broaddus and David Shirley of Vidor; his sister-in-law Betty Shirley of Vaiden; and his grandchildren, Brandy Ousley, John Brandon Shirley, Danielle Shirley, Angela Sowell, April Buffalow, Alisa Standley, Erik Cozart, James Laramore, Shannon Shirley, Tommy Shirley, Bethani Rizzotto and Joseph Duncan. He is also survived by 14 great-grandchildren.
