He was predeceased by: his parents, Vollie Vernon Basden and Dura Basden; and his brothers, Vollie Dalton Basden and Glen Vernon Basden. He is survived by: his children, Oscar Gerald Basden Jr., William Eric Basden, Anna Lisa Anderson, Hollie Bejarano and Jacqueline Bell; and his sister Rebecca Elaine Mynard. He is also survived by his friends, family, grandchildren, and much-loved dog.
