With heavy hearts, we announce the death of Opal Blanche Lyons of Vidor, Texas, born in Beaumont, Texas, who passed away on July 7, 2023 at the age of 99. Family and friends are welcome to leave their condolences on this memorial page and share them with the family.
She was predeceased by: her parents, Chattie Crane and Albert Crane; her husband Robert "Tiger" Lyons; and her granddaughter Jenna Leigh Williamson. She is survived by: her children, Jimmy Lyons of Vidor, TX, Donna Schneider (Preston) of Tomball, TX, Karen Sampson (Stanley) of Vidor and Sharon Grissom (Mark) of Vidor; her brother Larry Crane (Janie) of Kirbyville, TX; her sister-in-law Jewel Bogue of Marshall, TX.; and her grandchildren, Brandon Sampson (Doug), Amy Smedra (Michael), Patrick Schneider (Jennifer), Kelci Christensen (Dustin), Jeremy Williamson, Jason Williamson (Candice), Joni Cotham (Neil) and Susan Coleman (Mike). She is also survived by 19 great grandchildren, four great great grandchildren and numerous neices and nephews.
