She is survived by: her children, James Samuels (Rhonda Peevey) of Orange, Alvin Samuels (Kimberly) of Vidor, Chris Samuels (Belinda) of San Antonio and Mellissa Peterson (Michael) of Orange, TX; her siblings, Joe Gibson (Sharon) of Slidell, Martha Thornhill of Vidor, Myrtle Williams of Lumberton and Suzie Johnson (Dennis) of Vidor; her grandchildren, Adam, Cassandra (Joe), Matthew, Hailey (Nathan), Alvin Jr., Patrick (Jessica), Elizabeth, Heather (Trey), Susan (Ro Ro), Michael Jr. and Holly (Raymond); and her close friend Sharron Wheat of Vidor.
