She was predeceased by: her parents, Mable Bone and Lewis Coker; her husband Sheldon Post; her children, James Clifford Cordray, Charles Cordray and Penny Lassabe; her grandchildren, Kenneth Wayne Mosley, Richard Weston Jones, Jr. and Kade Hester; and her great grandchild Brandon Cuevas.

She is survived by: her daughters, Lynn Valdez (Juan), Vickie Hernandez, Sabrina Newton (Ronny Brannon), Jackie Rodgers and Sheila Byrd (Donald). She is also survived by numerous grandchildren, great-grandchildren, and great-great-grandchildren.
