She was predeceased by: her husband Chester Guidry; her daughter Terri Stuart; her parents, Louis Cormier and Ada Quebedeaux; and her siblings, Curtiss Cormier, Aubrey Cormier and Vernice Owens.
She is survived by: her children, Dee Guidry of Vidor, TX and Beckie Sosa of Gilchrist, TX; and her siblings, Jeanette Alleman (Nelson) of Scott, LA and Austin Cormier (Jan) of Rayne, LA. She is also survived by seven grandchildren, eight great-grandchildren, and numerous great-great-grandchildren.
Visitation was held on Sunday, January 5th 2025 from 6:00 PM to 9:00 PM at the Memorial Funeral Home of Vidor (1750 TX-12, Vidor, TX 77662). A rosary was held on Sunday, January 5th 2025 at 7:00 PM at the same location. A celebration of life was held on Monday, January 6th 2025 at 2:00 PM at the Our Lady of Lourdes Catholic Church (1600 N Main St, Vidor, TX 77662). A burial was held on Monday, January 6th 2025 at 3:00 PM at the Restlawn Memorial Park (2725 N Main St, Vidor, TX 77662).
