She was predeceased by: her husband James Day; her parents, Abbie Stanley and Essie Mae Stanley; her sister Nelda Williamson; her siblings-in-law, Jerry Blankenship and Peggy Stanley; her niece Kim Burkett; and her nephew Richard Watson.

She is survived by: her son Jimmy (Debbie Stanley) of Warren, TX; her siblings, Kathy Blankenship of Vidor, TX, Ravanell Stanley of Vidor, TX, Abbie Bland of Lumberton, TX, Billy Stanley of Vidor, TX, James Stanley of Vidor, TX and Bobby (Betty Stanley) of Lumberton, TX; her niece Sarah Watson; her grandchildren, Kati Stanley, Sara Wright, Kara Jordan and Wade Borel; and her great grandchildren, Luka Jordan, Woodrow Jordan, Eli Jordan, Noah Wright and Quinn Wright. She is also survived by numerous other nieces and nephews.
