With heavy hearts, we announce the death of John W. Gasaway (Vidor, Texas), born in Rusk, Texas, who passed away on May 4, 2020 at the age of 52. Family and friends are welcome to leave their condolences on this memorial page and share them with the family.
He was predeceased by: his parents, Sam Gasaway and Nora Gasaway; and his brother Jesse L. Gasaway. He is survived by: his son Cody Hagan of Vidor; his stepmother Margie Gasaway of Vidor; his grandchildren, Elana Mae Hagan and Eleanora Hagan; his siblings, Sharon Tenney (Chris) of Buna, TX, Becky Gasaway (Ryan Harris) of Quinlan, TX, J. D. Gasaway (Rhonda) of Shreveport, LA and Mark Gasaway of Vidor; and his stepsisters, Beth Resha (Eddie) of Mauriceville, TX and Tiffany Maurer (Chris) of Vidor. He is also survived by numerous nieces, nephews, family and friends.
