He was predeceased by: his parents, Homer Nagel and Gwendolyn Nagel (Glenn); his sister Brenda Beathard; and his granddaughter Tabitha Adams. He is survived by: his wife Carolyn of Lumberton; his children, Brady Nagel (Lindsay) and Brandi Moree (Chris) of Vidor; his stepchildren, Scott Yates (Lori), Judd Adams (Joanna), Jarrod Adams (Rachel) and Travis Edgerton of Lumberton; his brother Charles Nagel of Vidor; and his grandchildren, Trace, Zane Nagel, Reese, Rylee Moree, Chance Adams, Addie Yates, Isaac, Everett Adams and Kase Edgerton.
Visitation was held on Saturday, December 14th 2024 from 1:00 PM to 2:00 PM at the Memorial Funeral Home of Vidor (1750 TX-12, Vidor, TX 77662). A funeral service was held on Saturday, December 14th 2024 from 2:00 PM to 3:00 PM at the same location. A burial was held on Saturday, December 14th 2024 from 3:00 PM to 4:00 PM at the Restlawn Memorial Park (2725 N Main St, Vidor, TX 77662).
In lieu of flowers, donations can be made to the Alzheimer's Association in his memory.
