He is survived by: his wife Janet Whitmire of Vidor, TX; his sister Peggy Benson; his sons, Jason Whitmire of Vidor, TX, James Whitmire of Vidor, TX, Robert Whitmire (Dwana) of Bridge City, TX and Michael Whitmire (Jennifer) of Silsbee, TX; and his grandchildren, Quentin, Eric, Alyssa, Jamey, Corbin, Garrison and Sadie Whitmire. He is also survived by nieces, nephews, and friends.
