He is survived by: his wife Marsha Cosby; his children, Wayne Cosby, Jr. and Krystal Burns (Brandon); his grandchildren, Cole, Chloe, Grant, Teigan Cosby, AnnaBella, Brooks and Aubree Burns; his sisters, JoAnn Hart, June Clampit, Joyce Hakett (Gene) and Judy Welch (William); and his siblings-in-law, Gail Tannehill (Gene), Cheryl Loftin (L. J.) and Glenn Marino (Darla). He is also survived by numerous nieces and nephews.

Visitation was held on Friday, December 6th 2024 from 1:00 PM to 2:00 PM at the Eastgate United Pentecostal Church (18905 I-10, Vidor, TX 77662). A funeral service was held on Friday, December 6th 2024 at 2:00 PM at the same location. A burial was held on Friday, December 6th 2024 at the Forest Lawn Memorial Park (4955 Pine St, Beaumont, TX 77703).
