With profound sadness, we say goodbye to Jeanne Goetschius of Vidor, Texas, born in Port Arthur, Texas, whose vibrant spirit touched the lives of many. Jeanne left this world on December 9, 2024 at the age of 91, leaving a void in the lives of so many people. She was predeceased by: her husband Joe Goetschius; her parents, Hollie Singletary and Gladys Singletary; her brother Jerry Singletary; and her daughter-in-law Diane Ener Goetschius.
She is survived by: her children, Bobby Goetschius of Vidor, Dianne Thomas (David) of Vidor, Cheryl Goetschius (Guy Herman) of Spring, Jack Goetschius of Beaumont and Debra Goetschius of Spring; her grandchildren, Brent Thomas (Sherie), Alane Thomas, Katrina Johnson (Keven), Keila Goetschius (JW Buller), Kalley McConathy (Jared), Karley Jackson (Derek) and Taylor Herman; and her great grandchildren, Bradley, Lacey, Kamryn, Coby, Gemma, Rylan, Micah, Gabriel, Brody, Jack, Addi, Ella, Clara and Dylan.
Visitation was held on Monday, December 16th 2024 from 1:00 PM to 2:00 PM at the Memorial Funeral Home of Vidor (1750 TX-12, Vidor, TX 77662). A funeral service was held on Monday, December 16th 2024 from 2:00 PM to 3:00 PM at the same location. A burial was held on Monday, December 16th 2024 from 3:00 PM to 4:00 PM at the Greenlawn Memorial Park (3900 Twin City Hwy, Groves, TX 77619).
