He was predeceased by: his father Donald Randall Holmes; and his mother-in-law Beverly Stassi. He is survived by: his wife Julie Holmes of Vidor, TX; his daughters, Taylor Holmes (Dominick Findley) of Buda, TX, Abby Holmes (Ronan Iravani) of Goodyear, AZ and Bella Holmes (Nathan Bullard) of Vidor, TX; his stepson Patrick Sanchez (Cami) of Houston, TX; his mother Susan Carol Holmes of Vidor, TX.; his siblings, Emily Allen (Dereck Allen) of Orange, TX and Derrick "Big Red" Holmes (Laura) of Beaumont, TX; and his father-in-law Pete Stassi. He is also survived by numerous nieces, nephews, aunts, uncles, friends.
Viewing was held on Tuesday, February 11th 2025 from 12:00 PM to 2:00 PM at the Turning Point Church (3600 N Main St, Vidor, TX 77662). A funeral service was held on Tuesday, February 11th 2025 at 2:00 PM at the same location. A burial was held on Tuesday, February 11th 2025 at the Restlawn Memorial Park (2725 N Main St, Vidor, TX 77662).
