He is survived by: his wife Aleta Butts; his brother Conrad Earl Butts of Houston, TX.; his children, Laura Butts French of Montgomery, TX and Hart Christopher Butts (Stacey) of Vidor, TX.; his stepchildren, LaDonna Smith Clark (Rick) of Hemphill, TX and Carroll Jason Smith (Myra) of Haynesville, LA.; and his grandchildren, Aaron Courts, Ryan Courts, Brandon Courts, Jewel Meagan Terrell, Logan Butts, Travis Clark, Cody Clark, AnnaGrace Smith, Cade Smith and Aubrey Smith.
