She was predeceased by: her husband George "Peanut" Thomas Mendoza; her parents, Andie Johnson and Ola Mae Johnson; and her sister Stella Johnson. She is survived by: her children, Huey P. Hampton Jr. (Dee) of Beaumont, TX and Brenda C. Brown (Kevin) of Vidor, TX; her siblings, Charles N. Johnson (Joann) of Vidor, TX and Mary Jo Hale (Rocky) of Vidor, TX; her grandchildren, Arron Hampton and Derek Hampton; and her great grandchildren, Christopher Hampton, Garrett Hampton and Taylor Hampton.
In lieu of flowers, family will be accepting donations to put towards local charities.
