She was predeceased by: her parents, Ruby Frances Hoke and Vanya Frances; and her brother Walter Hales Jr. Ida. She is survived by: her children, Ruby L. Hales Randle (Dewayne), Onnie Bohr (Nancy), Angela Hales and Jimmy (Dianne Hales); her sisters, Melinda (Robert Downs), Karen (Eugene Kirkindoll) and Mary (Norman Dill); her sister-in-law Ora Hales; and her aunt Alice Johnson. She is also survived by 10 grandchildren and 18 great-grandchildren and numerous cousins, nieces and nephews.
