He is survived by: his wife Mary Ellen Roebuck Braneff; his children, Christine Wolfe (David) of Vidor, Vicki Friedman (Gary) of Houston, Rhonda Carpenter (David) of Vidor, Billy Braneff, Wanda Robichaux of Vidor and Larry Braneff of Vidor; his grandchildren, Stephen Wolfe, Hayley Friedman, Matthew Braneff, Ben Braneff, Stephanie Braneff, Allie Braneff, Nick Braneff, Jessica Braneff, Julie Braneff, Maeghan Braneff, Mallory Braneff and Aiden Braneff; his siblings, Estil Braneff (Mary) of Vidor, Willie Lee Truelock, Maggie Bloomfield, Ellen Gilmore, Jean Gould, Thomas Braneff, Charles Braneff and Robert Braneff; and also Pam Braneff. He is also survived by nephews and nieces.
A private graveside service will be held with immediate family members due to Covid and family members with autoimmune disorders.
