With profound sadness, we say goodbye to Erline Childs McDaniel of Vidor, Texas, whose vibrant spirit touched the lives of many. She was predeceased by: her husband Willie James McDaniel; her son Willie James McDaniel, Jr.; her parents, Floyd Childs and Bertha Barnhart Childs; and her siblings, F. C. Childs, Lloyd Childs, Phillip Childs, Marie White and Johnie Dowell.
She is survived by: her children, Byron McDaniel (Cindy), Keith McDaniel (Lori), Gayla Buesing (Eugene) and Rosa Clary (Mack); and her sister Vera Lloyd. She is also survived by 11 grandchildren; numerous great grandchildren.
In lieu of flowers the family has designated Hemphill Star Cemetery, Boyce, for memorial contributions.
