He was predeceased by: his parents, Columbus Porter and Lucy Porter; and his siblings, Thomas W. Porter and Carla Mae Snider. He is survived by: his wife Patsy Porter of Beaumont, TX; his children, Douglas Porter (Susan) of Beaumont, TX, Gary Porter of Vidor, TX and Cindy Porter of Beaumont, TX; his grandchildren, Kara Pack (Mike), Amber Winchester (Shane), Karen Mangan (David), Krista Spoonmore (Hayden) and Emalie Jones; and his brother-in-law Ronnie Collins of Vidor, TX. He is also survived by several nieces and nephews.
