She was predeceased by: her husband Herbert "Jimmie" Simmons; her son Michael Simmons; and her siblings, Jeanette Watson and Odis Vincent. She is survived by: her children, Catherine Whaley (Douglas) of Sulphur and Karole Borel (Michael) of Groves; and her daughter-in-law Ronalda Simmons of Vidor, TX. She is also survived by 12 grandchildren, 28 great grandchildren and 14 great great grandchildren; 3 brothers and 2 sisters.
