He was predeceased by: his wife Edna Maurine McGriff. He is survived by: his daughters, Tammy Washburn of Mesa, AZ and Twana Mack of Vidor, TX; and his sister-in-law Juanita Dykes of Vidor, TX. He is also survived by 5 grandchildren, and 14 great grandchildren.
In lieu of flowers the family has requested donations are made to The Church of God in Vidor.
