He is survived by: his wife Maria Sides of Vidor, TX; and his children, Ada Lena (Charles Ortolon) of Orange, TX, Melvin Delbert (Ayla Sides) of Vidor, TX, Howard Lee, Kayla Sides of Orange, TX and Johnny Lee (Tiffany Sides) of Kalamazoo, MI. He is also survived by 20 grandchildren and 9 great grandchildren.
