He was predeceased by: his parents, Estel Freeman and Curtis "Pappy" Freeman; and his siblings, Vallie Freeman, Mildford Freeman, Bill Freeman and Lera Herrington.

He is survived by: his close friend Joyce Freeman; his son Bryant Joseph Freeman (Niccole); and his sister Essie Lou Messer.

In lieu of flowers the family asks you to donate to the cost of services for Bryant.
