She was predeceased by: her parents, Ray McMillan and Mary Elizabeth McMillan (Dewil); her husband Paul Gene Wood; and her brother Huey McMillan. She is survived by: her children, Sherry Darlene Wansbrough of Vidor and Greg Lynn Wood (Carla) of Pearland; her grandchildren, Shana Lee Holmes (Alex), Darlene Manik Roten and Elizabeth Dawn Blakemore (Sean); and her great grandchildren, Presley Lynn Holmes, Holden Holmes, Jerry Joe Henson IV, Krystal Bracci, Aimée Henson, Jared Burdick, Ziva Blakemore and Kara Blakemore.
