He was predeceased by: his parents, Julius Marrion Barnard and Willa Mae Gillchrist Barnard; and his siblings, J. M. Barnard and Lynn Smith. He is survived by: his wife Jo; his children, Dennis Edward Barnard (Terry) of Beaumont, Jeffery Kyle Barnard of Beaumont and Kellie Dane Hampton (Greg) of Spring; and his grandchildren, Kristian Barnard (Crystal), Kody Barnard, Courtney Hampton and Chase Hampton.
