As Billie Ray departs from our midst, his spirit ascends to join the cosmic dance of stars, a shimmering constellation of memories that will forever grace the night sky of the hearts of those who loved Billie Ray. Though Billie Ray may no longer walk beside us, his legacy lives on — a testament to the enduring power of love to transcend the boundaries of time and space.
He was predeceased by: his parents, Billie Ray McBryde Sr. and Louise Tillman McBryde; and his brothers, Gary Busby and Johnie Busby. He is survived by: his wife Kathy Manchac McBryde; his daughter Wendy Lapeyrolerie (Michael); his brother Lloyd McBryde Sr. (Connie); and his sister-in-law Gloria Busby. He is also survived by numerous nieces and nephews.
Visitation will be held on Saturday, January 18th 2025 from 9:00 AM to 10:00 AM at the Memorial Funeral Home of Vidor (1750 TX-12, Vidor, TX 77662). A funeral service will be held on Saturday, January 18th 2025 from 10:00 AM to 11:00 AM at the same location. A burial will be held on Saturday, January 18th 2025 from 1:00 PM to 2:00 PM at the Egypt Cemetery (637 Co Rd 3430, Colmesneil, TX 75938).
