She was predeceased by: her husband Kenneth Portie; her son Ray Portie; her parents, Ernest Bozeman and Opal Bozeman; and her siblings, Geneva Richard, Margaret Shanks, Mildred Bozeman and Fred Bozeman.
She is survived by: her daughter Karen Henderson (Robert) of Magnolia, TX; her brother James "Jim" Bozeman (Joyce); her grandchildren, Tony Watson (Jennifer) and Kristi Henderson; and her great grandchildren, Taylor and Jett Watson. She is also survived by several nieces and nephews.
