She was predeceased by: her parents, Joe Harris and Leaner Harris; her husband Milton Lee Wilson Newman; her son Gary; her grandson Shaun Coberley; and her siblings, Paul Harris, Naoma King and James Harris.
She is survived by: her child Velvet; her children-in-law, David Coberley and Brenda Newman; her grandchildren, Jessica Newman, Randy Newman, Niki Webb (Craig), Amanda Blair (James), Johnathon Coberley (Jessie), Cassie Sanchez (Adam) and Sabrina Plato (Zach); her siblings, Nancy Mozisek (Dennis) and Charles Harris; and her siblings-in-law, Paul King and Carolyn Harris. She is also survived by her 15 great-grandchildren, numerous nieces, nephews, cousins, and friends.
Visitation will be held on Friday, January 3rd 2025 from 9:00 AM to 10:00 AM at the Grace Funeral Home - Victoria (2401 Houston Hwy, Victoria, TX 77901). A funeral service will be held on Friday, January 3rd 2025 from 10:00 AM to 11:00 AM at the same location.
