He was predeceased by: his parents, Rufus Petty and Mary Hope Petty. He is survived by: his sisters, Mary Carol Lenz (Matt) of Houston and Janice Hill (Mike) of Gainesville; his children, Chris Petty (Lora) of Austin, Donald Petty of Victoria, Emily Harrison (Miles) of Victoria and Natalie Meador (Tim) of Victoria; and his grandchildren, Logan Meador, Grace Harrison, Emma Meador and Zoe Harrison. He is also survived by numerous cousins, nephews, nieces, and great nephews and nieces.
The military honors was held on Tuesday, December 10th 2024 at 11:00 AM at the Fellowship of the Crossroads (597 Haynes Rd, Victoria, TX 77904).
