He was predeceased by: his parents, Arthur Conaway and Audrey McAdow Conaway of Illinois; his former wife Margie Wendland Conaway; the mothers of children, Maureen Solomon (Mike) of Goodyear, AZ, Laura Goedrich (Marty) of Port Aransas, Sandra Klemm (Paul) of Portland and Brenda Etzler (Kevin) of Hallettsville; and his grandson Barrett Goedrich.
He is survived by: his wife Joan Oswalt Conaway; his sons, John Oswalt (Kimberly) of Victoria and Albert Oswalt (Leann) of Corpus Christi; and his grandsons, Brody Etzler, Dylan Flinton, Eric Hewett, Mason May, Halston Oswalt, Jared Pollock, Clay Stehling and Jake Wallace.
