It is with great sadness that we announce the death of Vola T. Rickert of Victoria, Texas, who passed away on February 2, 2023, at the age of 84, leaving to mourn family and friends. She was predeceased by: her parents, Robert Toliver Thomas and Jennie Lou Hughes; her husband Henry Walter Rickert; and her siblings, Cleo Patterson, Clinton Thomas, Vina Oats, Denton Thomas, Lyla Nickerson, Lyle Thomas, Juanita Newton and Jimmy Thomas.
She is survived by: her children, Donna R. Laurence and Michael W. Short; and her stepchildren, Cynthia Tilden (Mike) and Henry Michael John Rickert (Debbie).
