She was predeceased by: her parents, Yolanda Luna (Lupe) and Luz Lopez (Jose); her uncles, Jaime Lopez and Joe Lopez (Dora); her siblings, Ricky Lopez and Olga Martinez (Joel); her nephew Ashton Martinez; and her grandson Rodney Nelson.
She is survived by: her husband Pete Girdy, Sr.; her children, Rita Schleuss, Pete Girdy, Jr. (Sharon), Tracy Cantu (Omero), Shawn Shelton and Chantelle Girdy; her brother Lupe Luna (Sundown); and her grandchildren, Pete Girdy, III, Brandon Girdy, Brenton Girdy, Arqueze Girdy, Chamera Cantu, Londray Brown, DeQuan Cantu, Raekwon Brown, Dwight Williams, Kayla Sneed, Jalen Cole and Cy Cole. She is also survived by other loving family members including aunts, uncles, cousins and friends.
