He was predeceased by: his son John. He is survived by: the mothers of children, Germaine Wearden of Floresville, Texas, Quinn Wearden of Austin, Texas and PJ Wearden; his wife Jennifer Baker of Wimberley; his children, Tate Baker, Griffin Wearden of Wimberley, Texas and James Wearden (Amy) of Driftwood Texas; and his granddaughter Lily.

A rosary will be held on Saturday, May 3rd 2025 at 10:00 AM at the St Mary's Catholic Church (101 W Church St, Victoria, TX 77901). A Mass of Christian burial will be held on Saturday, May 3rd 2025 at 10:30 AM at the St. Mary's Catholic Church (101 W Church St, Victoria, TX 77901).
