He is survived by: his wife Rosie Guevara Reyes; his children, Rosanne Reyes of Victoria, Samantha Cisneros (Josue) of San Antonio, Texas and Ricardo "Richie" Reyes Jr. (Yvonne) of Victoria, Texas; his siblings, Diana Gonzales (AC) of Bloomington, Rita Rodriguez (Gus) of Angleton, Rudy Reyes (Mary Lou) and Ralph Reyes (Veronica) of Victoria, Texas.; his grandchildren, Selah, Ezra and Mila; and his great grandchild Hazel.
In 2011, his sister Rita, who donated a kidney to him, gifted him the gift of life.
