He was predeceased by: his siblings, Josefa Barrientes, Eloisa Barrientes, Nicolasa Hernandez, Jacinto Barrientes, Santos Barrientes, Amador Barrientes and Victor Barrientes; and his sister-in-law Theresa Barrientes.
He is survived by: his daughter Mary Ann Barrientes (April) of Victoria; his siblings, Dominga Gaona (Tony) of Victoria and Pete Barrientes of Bloomington; and his grandson Masen Barrientes. He is also survived by numerous nieces and nephews.
