With profound sadness, we say goodbye to Norma Jean Cooper Harp of Victoria, Texas, whose vibrant spirit touched the lives of many. Norma Jean Cooper left this world on February 16, 2025 at the age of 89, leaving a void in the lives of so many people. She was predeceased by: her parents, Clifford Roy Cooper and Hattie Lee Moore Cooper; her siblings, Lewis Paul, Maudel Wren (Marvin), Patsy King and Susan Crader (Homer); and her nieces and nephews, Sheila Clark, Nancy Wren, Randy King, Homer Crader (Buddy) and Marty Wren.
She is survived by: her husband Melvin H. Harp, Sr.; her children, Melvin H. Harp, Jr., Carol Diane Harp Harriman (Dennis) and Pamela Harp Gill (Travis); her grandchildren, Jeremy Harp (Jo), Jamie Sadler (Mike), Christopher Harriman (Sheila), Patrick Harriman (Kiesha), Kelli Gill and Mindi Walker (Jacob); and her sisters-in-law, Shirley Kaufman, Marie Nunley and Janet Harp. She is also survived by 16 great grandchildren.
A memorial service will be held on Saturday, March 15th 2025 at 2:00 PM at the First Assembly of God (115 Cypress St, Edna, TX 77957).
