She was predeceased by: her parents, Ruben Rios and Maria Bosquez; her daughter Emma Marie Rios; her grandson Diego Benjamin Martinez; and her siblings, Antonio Vasquez, Guadalupe Alvarado, Paul Rios Bosquez, David Rios, Sylvia Ann Vasquez and Ruby Sharpe Flores.
She is survived by: her children, Joe Ruben Rios and Katherine Marie Vasquez (Javier); her grandchildren, Juanita Victoria Rios Cardenas (Nathaniel), Joshua Lee Anthony Rios and Fernando Luis Martinez; and her siblings, Margie De La Cruz, Rita Resendez, Frances Rios, Mary Sue Upton (Samuel), Mary Helen Lafleur, Vera Harrison and Ruben Rios.
Visitation was held on Friday, October 25th 2024 from 6:00 PM to 8:00 PM at the Grace Memorial Chapel at Memory Gardens (8819 US-87, Victoria, TX 77903). A rosary was held on Friday, October 25th 2024 at 7:00 PM at the Grace Memorial Chapel (8819 US-87, Victoria, TX 77903). A Mass of Christian burial was held on Saturday, October 26th 2024 at 9:00 AM at the Our Lady of Sorrows Catholic Church (208 W River St, Victoria, TX 77901). A burial was held on Saturday, October 26th 2024 at the Resurrection Cemetery.
