He was predeceased by: his parents, Amos Gibson and Effie Mae Gibson; his wife Linda O'Neal Gibson; his son Scott Gibson; and his siblings, Charles Gibson and Evie Merle Ellis.
He is survived by: his daughter Leah Gibson Sparks of Mansfield, TX; his grandchildren, Caleb, Bethany, Joel Sparks of Mansfield, TX, Gray and Brooke Gibson of Yardley, PA; and his siblings, Thomas Gibson, Robbie Ainsworth and Larry Gibson. He is also survived by numerous nieces and nephews.
A memorial service will be held on Saturday, March 1st 2025 at 10:30 AM at the Groesbeck Funeral Home (1215 E Yeagua St, Groesbeck, TX 76642).
