She was predeceased by: her parents, Lonnie Hopmann and Mildred Pieper Hopmann; her husband Johnny Kabela; her sisters, Betty Warzecha and Barbara Hopmann; and her grandson Jonathan Wilkins.
She is survived by: her children, Cindy Budaus, Kimberly Kabela (Robert) and Craig Kabela (Micki) of Victoria; and her siblings, Virginia King, Bill Hopmann (Cyndy), Don Hopmann (Carolyn) and Ray Hopmann (Mary Ann). She is also survived by six grandchildren and five great-grandchildren.
