Lupe was predeceased by: parents, Antonio Olivares Sr. and Benita Perez O. Cantu; son Eliseo Gonzales Jr. (Leslie); and siblings, Mary Lou Hernandez of Santa Fe and Manuel Olivares.
Lupe is survived by: daughters, Cynthia Ann Hernandez (Jose G.) of Houston and Melissa Gonzales (Veronika Salas) of San Antonio; daughter-in-law Lisa Diaz Gonzales of Rosenberg; and son Michael A. Gonzales of Victoria. Lupe is also survived by eight grandchildren, ten great-grandchildren, and one great-great-grandchild.
